Wrapped in upcycled matte pull-up Heinen leather, which quickly develops a vintage patina due to its uneven and scratch-sensitive finish, this desired effect will add unique character to your boots. AAVA Zero Waste ankle boots feature a multi-season felt lining for insulation and a lightweight lugged TR-rubber sole providing excellent traction.

Crafted at our own dedicated factory in Pärnu, Estonia, we have adopted a more sustainable approach to the design and manufacture of AAVA Zero Waste. These eco-conscious winter boots are created from a blend of factory scraps and surplus waste materials.

PULL-UP LEATHER: Due to its scratch-sensitive finish, pull-up leather quickly develops a vintage patina through natural use, such as folding, scratching, and stretching while walking. Exposure to rain and snow also enhances this unique patina, as liquids darken the leather.
HEINEN LEATHER: Tanned by Lederfabrik Josef Heinen, this eco-friendly choice in shoemaking prioritises environmental and animal welfare. With a two-tone effect, natural appearance, and intentional imperfections, it maintains a soft feel, high breathability, and easily develops a patina from scratches due to the absence of a thick protective paint layer.
